WHAT WE MEASURED

Using a Recordis device, an advanced portable cardiac technology—capturing 125+ data points in just one minute—we measured participants before and after a B.R.A.I.N.S. Technique™ session.

The data shows, in real time, what happens when stress is resolved at its source.


❤️ 1. The Body Enters Healing Mode—Fast

Heart rate decreased by 5–9 beats per minute, suggesting a change in autonomic nervous system regulation, potentially indicating a withdrawal of sympathetic drive and/or a shift toward parasympathetic output.  Either way, this represents a move toward physiological balance — the state where the body can finally rest, digest, and begin repairing itself.


💪 2. A Stronger, More Adaptive & Resilient Heart

The heart’s diastolic time—how long it takes for proper filling of the heart before ejection -  increased by 15 milliseconds immediately after a session

That means the heart filled more completely and pumped more effectively.

➡️ For every 10-millisecond decrease in diastolic time, cardiac risk rises—
so this increase represents a meaningful improvement in cardiovascular resilience.

The Myocardial Performance Index (MPI)—a key measure of overall heart efficiency—improved to 0.35, a range associated with strong, healthy cardiac performance.
