Could You Benefit from a Private B.R.A.I.N.S. Reset Session?
- Whitney Natiello
Sometimes the stressful moment is over.
The conversation ended.
The appointment passed.
The phone call is done.
The emergency has settled.
The hard interaction is behind you.
But inside, something still feels active.
You may know logically that the moment has passed, but your body may still be reacting as if it hasn’t fully received that message yet.
That can show up in obvious ways, like anxiety, irritability, overwhelm, insomnia, or looping thoughts.
But it can also show up physically.
Your neck and shoulders may tighten.
A headache may appear.
Your stomach may ache.
Your throat may feel tight.
A wave of nausea may hit.
An old area of pain may flare.
These responses are not always random.
Sometimes they are signs that your brain and body are still carrying the effects of a stressful experience that has not fully resolved.
This is one of the reasons I created Private B.R.A.I.N.S. Reset Sessions.
If you were one of my acupuncture clients, a Private B.R.A.I.N.S. Reset Session may feel familiar in some ways.
We begin with what feels most active for you right now. We slow things down. We listen to what your body and brain are carrying. And instead of trying to force yourself to think differently, we use a gentle, structured process to help your nervous system settle.
In acupuncture, the goal was often to help move what felt stuck in the body.
In a B.R.A.I.N.S. Reset Session, we are working with what may feel stuck in the brain and nervous system after a stressful experience.
After a session, people feel like they come back on line. They feel calmer, clearer, and more able to see the original situation from a new perspective...many say it feels similar to how an acupuncture session feels like.
Private B.R.A.I.N.S. Reset Sessions are designed for those moments when a stressful experience is still affecting how you feel, think, sleep, react, or move through your day.

You might recognize yourself in one or more of these:
☐ I keep replaying the same conversation or event.
☐ I know it’s over, but it doesn’t feel over.
☐ I can’t seem to calm my mind or body.
☐ My sleep has changed since the stressful experience.
☐ I’m more irritable, emotional, reactive, or burned out than usual.
☐ I feel stuck, overwhelmed, or mentally exhausted.
☐ My neck and shoulders stay tight.
☐ I’ve noticed headaches, stomach aches, nausea, throat tightness, or other physical symptoms that began after a stressful event.
☐ I avoid certain people, places, conversations, or situations because of what happened.
☐ I’m having trouble making decisions, concentrating, or thinking clearly.
☐ I know what I need to do, but I can’t seem to do it.
☐ I feel like I’m surviving instead of fully living.
If you checked one or more of these:
it may simply mean the part of your brain that registered the experience as stressful or threatening still needs help finding resolution.
Because that part of the brain is not always logical.
It does not always respond to reason, reassurance, or “I should be over this by now.”
Sometimes it needs a body-based signal that helps the brain recognize:
“The threat is over now.”
